You will serve as a REALTY SPECIALIST in the Marine Corp Installation Command (MCICOM) of MCAS BEAUFORT SC.
Duties
You will provide responses to both internal and external agencies data calls and gather required data as necessary when requested to satisfy reporting requirements from these organizations.
You will ensure that all acquisition/construction costs, new facilities, and those facility repair projects determined to be capital improvements are capitlized and reflected in the Real Property Inventory.
You will conduct Real Property physical inventories to ensure the inventory database and records accurately reflect the number and category of assets on the ground.
You will maintain property records to meet audit requirements and ensures all changes are correctly reflected in the system.
You will prepare reports and other documentation as required.

- You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card with travel and purchase authority.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- Due to the distances involved, incumbent must be able to communicate with and work effectively with persons orally and in writing, both face to face, over telephone, and through correspondence.
- Incumbent must be familiar with electronic word processing, spreadsheets, and data input.
- Incumbent is required to Occasionally travel to locations throughout the Regional area of responsibility.
- Incumbent is required to research state local Real Property records, conduct site visits or Real Property inventories, meet with property owners and attend meetings, conferences, or training.
- This position is eligible for part time, full time or ad-hoc telework at the discretion of management.
- You will be required to obtain and maintain a current and valid US Drivers License.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-11) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Overseeing and managing the accountability of real property inventory, provide technical authority and apply configuration standards to develop and enforce tactics, techniques, and procedures to acquire, maintain, re-capitalize, and dispose of real property.
