This position is part of the Defense Security Cooperation Agency. The incumbent will be responsible for leading a diverse team of individuals with experience in workforce management and administrative support; developing, initiating, and implementing administrative policies and procedures for assigned areas of responsibility; managing one or a number of operations-wide administrative support programs.
Duties
As a Lead Administrative Program Specialist at the GS-0301-13 some of your typical work assignments may include:
Lead the team in identifying, distributing, and balancing workload and tasks among employees in accordance with established workflow, skill level and/or occupational specialization.
Manage one or a number of operations-wide administrative support programs.
Analyze and evaluate administrative procedures for the effective use of personnel and materials.
Serves as the DSCU CATMS manager.
Develop and communicate DSCU operations division budget requirements to the DSCU budget office and consolidates inputs for review by the DSCU CoS, Provost, and President.
Provide guidance, assistance, and training to faculty and staff on the application of DSCU policies and procedures and how they apply to DoD, and DSCA policies and procedures for implementation.
Conduct special projects and studies of internal organizations and management systems or issues that may directly impact senior leader's organizational structures and/or workflow.
Ensure all DSCU Records Management, to include Share Drive and Share Point, and maintenance of files and records management system(s) are in accordance with DoD regulations.

Qualifications
You may qualify at the GS-13, if you fulfill the following qualifications:
A. One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service:
leading a diverse team of individuals with experience in workforce management and administrative support; developing, initiating, and implementing administrative policies and procedures for assigned areas of responsibility; managing one or a number of operations-wide administrative support programs; developing and communicating division budget requirements to the budget office and consolidating inputs for review.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
Education
Substitution of education may not be used in lieu of specialized experience for this grade level.
