As a Service Center Manager, you will serve within a geographical area of Public Buildings Service, Centers Division, providing direction, management, and coordination of PBS programs and activities directed toward profitability and customer satisfaction.
Location of position: Public Buildings Service, Service Centers Division in Region 7.
Location determined at selection.
We are currently filling two vacancies, but additional vacancies may be filled as needed.
Duties
Represent GSA and serve as liaison in community outreach programs, socio-economic initiatives, community development districts, emergency preparedness organizations, child care boards, professional associations (IFMA, BOMA, etc.), security committees, etc.
Supervise efforts of GSA associates primarily in the GS-1176 occupation and various grade levels in the execution of assigned direct and reimbursable operations with a focus towards profitability and customer satisfaction. In consultation with fellow supervisors throughout PBS, coordinates work of other associates in various occupations i.e GS-800, GS-1101 etc.
Through subordinate staff and in coordination with staff members in a variety of occupations is responsible for the design, construction, alteration, remodeling, extension, repair, preservation and improvement of Federal buildings and related equipment and facilities; management, operation, and current maintenance of Federal buildings and leased space, equipment and facilities; acquisition of real property and management of real property holdings; provision of safety, environmental and physical protection services; determination of Federal agency space requirements, development of housing plans, assignment and reassignment of space among Federal agencies; and acquisition and procurement of goods/services to support the geographic offices.

The GS-14 base salary range starts at $104,604 per year. Locality will be determined based on selected duty station location.
To qualify, you must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 level or higher in the Federal service. Specialized experience is defined as experience managing, coordinating and advising multi-disciplinary teams that manage and evaluate building operations and/or building management programs. Such experience must include knowledge and/or experience in one or more of the following areas: facility operations; acquisition and administration of service and construction contracts; real property management and safety; lease administration; asset management, capital investment planning; project management or customer relationship management.
