You will serve as a FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST in the POM AND BUDGET INTEGRATION DIVISION of COMNAVSPECWARDEVGRU.

Duties

You will perform budget review, analysis, and execution in support of day-to-day operations. You will perform budget formulation involving the preparation of detailed analysis of annual budget estimates and exhibits of assigned programs. You will monitor the execution of assigned programs in accordance with appropriation law, obligation metrics, and prescribed plans. You will provide technical guidance and instruction to Resource Management Analysts (RMAs) and respond to fiscal policy related questions.

• You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
• This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
• This is a Financial Management Level II certified position per the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) 2012, Section 1599d. You must achieve this level within prescribed timelines. Certification requirements are in DoD Instruction 1300.26.

Qualifications

GS-12: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: analyzing, developing or evaluating funding for current and long-range operating plans and requirements; and overseeing or managing the funds control within the Comptroller's Office to provide guidance or recommendations to staff regarding funds control, document preparation and other funding related issues. GS-11: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: analyzing, developing or evaluating funding for current and long-range operating plans and requirements; and assisting with the overseeing or managing the funds control within the Comptroller's Office to provide guidance or recommendations to staff regarding funds control, document preparation and other funding related issues. Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree

3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree
