THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 5 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION.
This National Guard position is for a RECORDS & INFO MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST (KNOWLEDGE MANAGEMENT)-Title 5, Position Description Number T5552000 and is part of the WI JFHQ, Wisconsin National Guard.
Duties
Develops and implements Army policy and programs governing the implementation and management of Knowledge Management (KM) initiatives.
Advises on opportunities presented by emerging technologies for improvement.
Identifies and establishes roles and responsibilities for supporting a knowledge management environment.
Develops a migration plan for content to support and promote knowledge management.
Ensures that the KM tools employed have the ability to attain effectiveness.
Defines and establishes KM tasks in support of the published policy.

Qualifications
GENERAL EXPERIENCE: For positions for which individual occupational requirements do not specify otherwise, general experience is 3 years of progressively responsible experience that demonstrates the ability to:
Analyze problems to identify significant factors, gather pertinent data, and recognize solutions;
Plan and organize work; and
Communicate effectively orally and in writing.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: You must have at least 1 year experience at the next lower level. Candidate must have experience developing and implementing various policy and programs governing the implementation and management of Knowledge Management (KM). Experience with record management and PDF management. Candidate must have a thorough knowledge and understanding of administrative procedures and practices of management. Experience recommending appropriate technologies to support current policies and practices. Candidate has experience with developing a migration plan for content to support and promote knowledge management. Candidate has experience with efficient and effective knowledge sharing between NGB, ARNG, DA, DoD, interagency partners, and other federal and state systems. Able to provides technological solutions to all levels of the organization. Candidate is able to write reports and presentation formats; and ability to communicate -orally and in writing- clearly and effectively. Preferred applicants have experience with Microsoft Teams, Word, Excel, Access and/or the entire Office 365 suite and associated apps.
Education
