You will serve as a Program Support Assistant in the Naval Oceanographic Office, Command Services Department of NAVOCEANO BAY ST LOUIS.

Duties
You will serve as identification (ID) card clerk responsible for control over the receipt and and accountability for a variety of ID cards for active duty military, retired military, disabled veterans, military family members and DoD civilians.
You will identify and analyze problems and issues concerning the work, determine interrelationships involved and determine appropriate methods and techniques to resolve matters.
You will respond to a variety of telephonic and written inquires pertaining to eligibility for Uniformed Services, Common Access Cards(CACs) and ID cards.
You will maintain and update training manuals and user guides.
You will provide advice and first level customer assistance to CAC users.
Requirements

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
TYPING REQUIREMENT: This position requires the ability to type at least 40 words per minute. Your response to the typing skill question on the Occupational Questionnaire will be used in your qualification determination.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-04 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Controlling the receipt and accountability of a variety of ID Cards; 2) Processing enrollment applications to issue ID cards and preparing accountability reports; 3) Responding to a variety of telephonic and written inquiries regarding processes and regulations; and 4) Preparing correspondence using office automation equipment and word processing.

Education
SUBSTITUTION OF EDUCATION FOR EXPERIENCE: Applicants may substitute the following education for the required experience: Four (4) years successfully completed education above high school level that was obtained in an accredited business or technical school, junior college or university for which high school graduation or the equivalent is the normal prerequisite.
OR
A combination of experience and education as described above that equates to one year of experience.
