As a Senior Acquisition Business Specialist, you will manage multiple highly complex and high-dollar value acquisitions.Location of position:FAS, Office of Assisted Acquisition Services, Acquisition and Procurement Center of Excellence (APEX)Portsmouth, VA
This office is a full spectrum, cradle-to-grave acquisition, project and financial management services provider.
We are currently filling one vacancy, but additional vacancies may be filled as needed.

The GS-14 salary range starts at $123,914 per year. If you are a new federal employee, your starting salary will likely be set at the Step 1 of the grade for which you are selected. To qualify, you must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 level or higher in the Federal service. Specialized experience is defined as demonstrated expertise in Federal acquisition and project management, specifically from acquisition initiation through contract or Task Order award. Such experience must include: managing complex, high-dollar value acquisitions; performing requirements development, acquisition planning, and managing technical evaluation boards, including cost-plus acquisitions; preparing written acquisition documents such as Performance Work Statements, Acquisition Plans, and Technical Evaluation Reports; and applying analytical methods and techniques to assess client needs.
