You will serve as a LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in the Fleet Readiness Center Det Mid Atlantic, Fleet Support Team HQ Logistics Group, FST Maintenance Department of PATUXENT RIVER, MD.
Duties
You will review and understand the rationale for the support strategies, decisions and annotations made in the LPD database to indicate whether the maintenance plan rationale is sound and supported by supportability analysis processes.
You will participate in studies, assess impacts to product supportability, develop requirements, processes and tools in support of maintenance planning.
You will communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, and be able to make technical presentations to all levels of government and industry.
You will utilize methods and techniques utilized in the interpretation and application of the Naval Aviation Maintenance Program policies, standards and key concepts of Product Support Analysis and relationship with Logistics Product Data (LPD).

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing some or all of the following duties:
Providing technical guidance to Program Offices, COMFRC HQ Maintenance Repair Overhaul (MRO) teams, and Fleet Support Teams (FSTs) to enhance operational efficiency and meet mission objectives effectively;
Collaborating with the COMFRC FST HQ Maintenance Planning Division Lead and NAWCAD Business Units to secure essential resources that bridge individuals, processes and products, and ensuring seamless support for both present and future needs;
Contributing to the formulation of maintenance planning strategies by creating partnerships and leveraging innovative methodologies and techniques to enhance the value proposition;
Enforcing processes and policies required to sustain and provide continuous maintenance planning services to ensure maintainability, readiness, supportability, and affordability;
Interpreting guidance and policies from higher headquarters to assist in the development of local methods and procedures consistent with overall sustainment objectives.
