About the Position: This position is located in the Special Projects Branch of the Planning, Programs, and Project Management Division, Omaha District, US Army Corps of Engineers. The office is located in downtown Omaha, NE, near the Missouri River and the city's wide array of parks, museums, historic sites, restaurants, and entertainment venues.
Duties
Serve as a Program Manager for the International Interagency Service (IIS) and Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) missions assigned to the Special Projects Branch.
The Manager is responsible for timely action on program directives, and has overall responsibility for program budget and cost, schedules, program quality and program goals for the assigned programs in coordination with the District.
Serve as lead or senior management official for all program briefings conducted on a periodic basis for program review and analysis.
Integrate customer requirements and participation into a comprehensive management plan, that is fully coordinated with all contributing agencies and organizations, including various functional elements within the district and other USACE elements.
Establishing responsibilities and setting expectations; controlling and managing the budget and scheduling of projects managed under the Special Projects Branch.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Incumbent may be required to perform/travel Temporary Duty (TDY) 25%-40% of the time. TDY percentage will depend on the location of the position.
- This position requires you to submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report (OGE450) upon entry, and annually thereafter.

This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12).
