You will serve as an Administrative/Technical Specialist team member in the Department Business Office of NAVSURFWARCENDLD. You will perform duties as an administrative assistant, HR Liaison, supporting the Integrated Engagement Systems Department (E) Business Operations Manager (E03 Dept 03).

Duties

You will work with the Department Business Operations Manager's office to maintain excellence in tracking a wide variety of human resources and administrative functions. You will support day-to-day operations surrounding staffing management and execution. You will facilitate the processing of personnel actions and corrections with the direction from the Business Operations Manager. You will learn to maintain tracking of data related to human resources and workforce functions for the department. You will learn to develop and prepare standard and ad hoc reports and metrics. You will learn to research, collate, organize, and evaluate administrative and human resources data in order to prepare action item responses, populate databases, and prepare reports and presentations in support of the Department. You will assist the Business Operations Manager and Division Administrative Officer Staff with identifying and obtaining missing personnel documents. You will access automated systems to perform Department ERP System Access, Role Access, and User Management functions. You will consult with team members to provide information and help resolve data management problems.

Qualifications

FOR NT-03 (GS-09/10 equivalent): Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the next lower pay band, NT-02 (GS-05/08 equivalent), or grade level in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: experience analyzing and evaluating data to create administrative actions and reports (e.g., human resources functions, workforce development) for an office or organization. FOR NT-02 (GS-05/08 equivalent): Your resume must demonstrate at least three years of general experience at or equivalent to the next lower pay band, NT-01 (GS-04 equivalent), or grade level in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector analyzing problems to identify significant factors, gather pertinent data, and recognize solutions; plan and organize work; and communicate effectively orally and in writing. General experience shows the ability to 1) analyze problems to identify significant factors, gather pertinent data, and recognize solutions; 2) plan and organize work and 3) communicate effectively orally and in writing. Such experience may have been gained in administrative, professional, technical, investigative, or other responsible work. Experience in substantive and relevant secretarial, clerical, or other responsible work may be qualifying as long as it provided evidence of the knowledge, skills, and abilities (KSA's) necessary to perform the duties of the position to be filled. Experience of a general clerical nature (typing, filing, routine procedural processing, maintaining records, or other nonspecialized tasks) is not creditable. Education

FOR NT-03 (GS-09/10 equivalent): In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:

- successfully completed a master's or equivalent graduate degree.
OR
- successfully completed two full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a master's degree.

- obtained an LL.B. or J.D. that is related to the position being filled.
