About the Position: This position is located at Fort Novosel, Alabama, home of the United States Army Aviation Center of Excellence. Fort Novosel is located in the "Wiregrass" area in Southeast Alabama, surrounded by Enterprise, Ozark and Daleville.
Duties
Implement audit readiness controls and conduct audit readiness testing throughout the agency.
Perform a variety of reviews of business operations and processes.
Provide comprehensive management accounting advice and guidance to agency managers regarding present and future operational efficiency.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Able to obtain and maintain Secret Security Clearance.
- This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 10% of the time
- Able to obtain and maintain FM Certification Level II within 24 months of employment.

Position may be filled as a time-limited promotion, reassignment or change to lower grade not to exceed 3 years by a current permanent Army employee. Position may be made permanent without further competition.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: Provide professional accounting advice and assistance to agency managers; Conduct financial reporting to evaluate program performance and ensuring efficient resource usage; Implement and interpret financial management policies; Assist with Audit Readiness training; Operate and maintain accounting systems.
