About the position: This position will be assigned to the Marketing Office.
This position is considered Regular Part Time (RPT). You are guaranteed 20 hours but has the potential to work up to 40 hours/week. You may be required to work nights, weekends, and holidays. Duties
This position is developmental, and the incumbent will be noncompetitively promoted to the position of Commercial Sponsorship Coordinator, NF-1101-III grade level using SPG 70147 upon completion of the required training.
a. The position at this grade level is established to provide a means by which a new incumbent can become familiar with the organization and the duties assigned to this position. In this situation, the incumbent performs duties with minimal instruction from the supervisor. The incumbent uses judgment in selecting procedures, work methods and applicable regulations. Supervisor spot checks work on a regular basis to ensure work is completed correctly.
b. It is anticipated that as the incumbent acquires knowledge and experience, duties will be completed with increasing proficiency and independence. When the incumbent has demonstrated the ability to perform the full range of duties and responsibilities described in the basic position; the supervisor should initiate a request for a review of the position.
c. Qualifications at this grade level are: One year of progressively responsible work as a Commercial Sponsorship Coordinator at the grade level of a NF-1101-II. This is a position of trust and requires completion of a Tier One Background Investigation.
Stays current on all aspects of administration of the marketing program. Performs other related duties as assigned.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Qualifying Experience:
One year of experience in general clerical or office work in a marketing or advertising office which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position in a satisfactory manner.
Must have experience involving public contact, working with customers to gather information on marketing or advertising requirements, developing to use in advertising, and/or work where the incumbent assisted in marketing campaigns.
This is a position of trust and requires completion of a Tier One Background Investigation.
Incumbent is required to drive a government motor vehicle in the performance of his/her duties. Must be able to provide a copy of his/her driving record.
This is a drug testing designated position. The incumbent is subject to random testing for drug use.

Education
Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. This position does not allow for education substitution.
FOREIGN EDUCATION: Education completed in foreign colleges or universities may be used to meet the requirements. You must show proof the education credentials have been deemed to be at least equivalent to that gained in conventional U.S. education program. It is your responsibility to provide such evidence when applying.
