About the Position: Army National Guard, Aviation, Airfields Operations Branch, Arlington, Virginia. ???????About the Surrounding Area: Situated in Northern Virginia on the south bank of the Potomac River directly across from Washington D.C. Arlington is headquarters to many departments and agencies of the federal government, including the Department of Defense and is the location of many national memorials and museums.

Duties

Conduct lead personnel administration and management tasks. Perform duties in formulating unprecedented policy and recommending courses of action for the State leadership and Airfield Managers. Provides subject matter expertise for Air Traffic Control (ATC) equipment and navigational aids (NAVAIDS) in support of airfields and heliports nationwide.

This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12 or above.
