You will serve as a UTILITIES SUPERVISOR I in the WASTEWATER BRANCH of NAVAL FACILITIES ENG COMMAND HAWAII.

Duties

You will provide daily supervision to the assigned trades and ensure tasks are completed in a safely and timely manner. You will plan the operation, improvements, personnel training, and fiscal control of the PWC Pearl Harbor sewerage system You will administer financial control of the Sewage Collection and Lift Station Section of the Sewage Branch. You will review status of work being accomplished to balance workloads and resources among work units.

Requirements

Qualifications

The Screen-out Element for this position is: 1) Answering questions of other workers on procedures, policies, written instructions, or other technical sources in determining the cause of malfunctions and/or making repairs; 2) Observing the workmanship of other workers to ensure correct methods, procedures, processes, tools, test equipment, and specifications are used and followed; 3) Providing hands-on training to less experienced workers; and 4) Advising employees on proper material, methods, and tools as well as shop safety, in making repairs.
