Duties

Performs all budgetary processes and administrative duties in support of an office mission. Tracks funding for current and out years. Analyzes and reconciles the availability and proprietary use of funds on various financial documents. Prepares detailed schedules of obligation and expenditure requirements for office operating budgets. Verifies budgetary reports for accuracy and takes appropriate action to correct inaccurate data. Provides current information on status of funds, costs and progress of work, and availability of funds in different budget accounts as requested.

Requirements

• Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
• A one year probationary period may be required.
• Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.

Qualifications

Demonstrated work experience that included practical knowledge of operating budgets and fund control principles, practices and applicable regulatory procedures. Work experience must have equivalent in complexity, difficulty and responsibility to the next lower pay grade level. Highly Preferred: Possess at least one (1) year of specialized experience performing budgetary processes in support of an office mission. Possess at least one (1) year of specialized experience analyzing and reconciling the availability and proprietary use of funds on various financial documents. Possess at least one (1) year of specialized experience providing information on the status of funds and availability of funds in budget accounts.
