You will serve as a AUTOMOTIVE EQUIPMENT DISPATCHER in the Southwest Region Fleet Transportation Division of MARINE CORPS BASE CAMP PENDLETON.
Duties
You will assist with the scheduling motor vehicle operators, vehicles, and other equipment.
You will act as the liaison between customers to coordinate support, resolve issues and provide information to ensure the mission is accomplished.
You will be responsible for dispatching of all C-Pool vehicles, U-Drive vehicles, and all vehicles operated by personnel.
You will maintain a daily dispatch record or trip by trip record of vehicles assigned to operators and for vehicles operated by customers.
You will be required to monitor phones, email traffic, and transportation capacity planning tool to ensure effective communication with customers, motor vehicle operators, other region dispatchers and other personnel as required.
You will also be required to operate light duty vehicles to relocate vehicles, refuel vehicles, clean vehicles.
Requirements

- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

- You will be required on occasion to lift/carry items weighing up to 50 pounds in weight.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-04 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: coordinating transportation activity, dispatching personnel and equipment to meet scheduled and unscheduled vehicle and other equipment requirements.

Education
