As a Lease Administration Specialist you will provide a combination of short term planning, development, and implementation of lease administration functions in direct support of the regional PBS program.Location of position: Public Buildings Service, Pasadena Field Office, in Pasadena, CA
We are currently filling one vacancy, but additional vacancies may be filled as needed.
Duties
Explains, promotes, and implements GSA property management policies, procedures, and methods relating to tenant services provided by GSA and/or lessors, to include the following: equipment maintenance including repair and replacement, reimbursable services, building repairs and alterations, space requirements, energy utilization, safety and environmental issues, concessions, information on personal property transactions, and various GSA programs.
Coordinates tenant agency relocation and personal property moves.
Solicits price proposals for alterations, improvements and other actions under the lease.
Participates in pre and post occupancy activities, including space requests, market surveys, design kickoff meetings, acceptance meetings, space condition inspections and key collection.
Explains, promotes and implements GSA property management policies, procedures and methods related to tenant services.
Analyzes and monitors the full range of lease building operational procedures and policies for conformance with GSA requirements.
Answers inquiries from lessor, general public and congressional interests concerning rent payments, escalations, and other inquiries related to financial aspects of leases.

The GS-09 salary range starts at $69,729 per year.
The GS-11 salary range starts at $84,366 per year.
If you are a new federal employee, your starting salary will likely be set at the Step 1 of the grade for which you are selected.
To qualify for the GS-09, you must have at least one year of Specialized experience equivalent to the GS-7 level in the Federal service is experience applying a basic knowledge of performing a combination of short term planning, development and implementation of lease administration enforcement programs; and performing duties necessary to interpret and enforce lease contracts. Examples of qualifying specialized experience include assisting in managing and evaluating building operations and/or building management programs to achieve customer consent; and/or recommending strategies to optimize building performance.
OR master's or equivalent level degree or 2 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree or an LL.B. or JD.
OR a combination of graduate level education and appropriate experience that together meet the qualification requirements of this position.
To qualify for the GS-11, you must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-09 level or higher in the Federal service is experience performing a combination of short term planning, development and implementation of lease administration enforcement programs; and performing duties necessary to interpret and enforce lease contracts. Examples of qualifying specialized experience include: managing and evaluating building operations and/or building management programs to achieve customer consent; developing and implementing strategies to optimize building performance and support investment decisions; and assessing contractor performance to ensure building services provided meet contract specifications as well as business and workplace needs,
OR a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or have successfully completed 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.M., if related
OR a combination of graduate level education and appropriate experience that together meet the qualification requirements of this position.
