You will serve as a Secretary (OA) in the Marine Meteorology, Code 750200 of NAVAL RESEARCH LABORATORY CONUS.
Duties
You will process and reconcile credit card and small purchases.
You will process travel request and supporting documentation.
You will process and monitor scientist publication submissions.
You will process travel and invitational travel request and claims.
You will enter approved travel request into the defense travel systems.
You will maintain a travel log to identify available funding.
Requirements

- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

Qualifications
This position requires the ability to type at least 40 words per minute. Your response to the typing skill question on the Occupational Questionnaire will be used in your qualification determination.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-01/04) or pay band (NC-01) in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing most or all of the following duties: 1) utilizing office automation equipment and processes; (2) performing administrative and clerical duties (e.g., filing, answering phone calls, making appointments); (3) generating reports, typing, ensuring grammatical correctness of correspondence, and ensuring proper routing procedures are followed; (4) providing assistance to others through customer service in an office/business setting; and (5) maintaining calendars.

Education
In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
- 4 years above high school
OR
- A combination of experience and education as described above that equates to one year of experience. My percentage of the required education plus my percentage of the required experience equal one hundred percent
