This position will serve as the Supervisor of a new EHP Non-Disaster Grant Review Team focusing on the review of Building Resilient Infrastructure and Communities (BRIC) grants for Region I. This position is responsible for supervising a team of inter-disciplinary staff of environmental and historic preservation specialists and overseeing the completion of environmental and historic preservation reviews for a complex portfolio of multi-million dollar grant projects.

To qualify for this Environmental Protection Specialist position at the IC-13 level, you must possess one full year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the IC-12 level in the Federal government, which has equipped you with the skills needed to successfully perform the duties of the position. Experience may be obtained in the federal government, a state or local government, or private sector, and must demonstrate the following: Completing complex environmental and historic preservation compliance reviews for grant projects under Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act, Coordinating with internal and external partners to provide technical guidance; and Leading teams in applying solutions for addressing adverse environmental or historic preservation impacts to complex projects.
