Duties

Perform property systems analysis at contractor's facilities and work sites to ensure facility property is being accounted for in accordance with the terms of the contract. Review contractor plans, guidance and automated records to ensure proper acquisition, accountability, use, maintenance, protection, and disposition of Property. Exercise oversight for varied complex property control systems maintained by several prime contractors and many subcontractors to assist in reporting the health of a contractor’s property system and any problems concerning property administration. Originate documents and advise program Contracting Officers about contractor liability due to property loss/damage. Perform final disposition of excess real/personal property to include real/personal property using the proper systems. Work as Property/Equipment Manager alongside the contracting and program offices responsible for clearing program property/equipment from many contractors/subcontractors to ensure the prompt and proper disposition/reutilization of Property.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance. If the security clearance is denied or revoked, the individual may be denied or removed from the position, accordingly.
  • This is an Army Acquisition, Logistics and Technology Workforce position. Selectee must meet position requirements for Contracting Professional Certification within 36 months of entrance on duty.
  • Must file annual financial statement.
