You will serve as a INDUSTRIAL ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN in the MARINE DEPOT MAINENANCE COMMAND of MCLC ALBANY GA.
Duties
You will be responsible for the review of customer provided Statements of Work (SOW).
You will be responsible for development of standardized parts list and work procedures for procedures for Production Plant Barstow to include establishing Bills of Material (BOM) that articulate the processes to be followed.
You will be responsible for the day-to-day maintenance of the bill of materials to correct for process changes or improvements.
You will responsible for development of the disassembly and disposition records (DOR) for Code B parts, that are to be evaluated for reuse verses replacement within MDMC.
You will assist project officer and/or engineers with development of cost estimates, based on the customer statement of work, development, and clarification of project requirements for execution within MDMC.
You will assist project officer and/or engineer with identification and development of solutions that require the submission of a deviation/waiver to the Program Office for approval.
Requirements

- This is a Mission Essential position. You will be required to ensure organization or facility continuity of operations and/or completion of tasks that are considered essential to the mission designated by a local or command decision.
- Must be willing and able to submit to a pre-employment physical exam prior to employment and annually.
- Temporary promotions may be extended up to 5 years at the discretion of management and in accordance with applicable regulations.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: gathering and analyzing data to: develop standardized work procedures, establish and maintain bills of material, AND plan formulate and develop future requirements for multiple production plants.
