About the Position: This position is responsible for planning, managing, coordinating and reviewing the allocation and utilization of mission support buildings and facilities for accommodation of Army units, activities and individuals assigned to US Army Support Activity (ASA) Fort Dix, NJ.

Duties

Analyzes and evaluates space requests considering activities' organization structure, workflow, staffing, mission, location, special requirements and availability of space. Performs site inspections of existing, available, and adequate space often in response to Space Requests. Manages Facility Reduction Program targets in support of the JB demolition program. Coordinate with JB to identify mission support facilities recommended for demolition Makes recommendations to Staff Engineer for Major Construction Army Reserve (MCAR) and Full Facility Restoration (FFR) projects. Serves, in conjunction with Staff Engineer, as the U.S. Army Signal Activity (USASA) Liaison to Joint Base (JB). Writes Statements of Work (SOW). Performs Contracting Officer Technical Representative (COTR) functions (e.g. conducts In Process Reviews (IPRs), recommends acceptance/non-acceptance of deliverables, recommends modifications and amendments, etc.).

Conducting utilization surveys to gather data to assess space usage. 3) Applying regulations and federal policies to ensure compliance with facility management guidelines. 4) Maintaining accurate documentation of real property transactions. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11). You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Contract Management/SupportFacilities Operations ManagementProgram/Project Management Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent GS-11
