About the Position: This position is located at the U.S. Army National Guard Readiness Center, Aviation Airfield Operations Branch, in Arlington, Virginia. About the Surrounding Area: Situated in Northern Virginia on the south bank of the Potomac River directly across from Washington D.C. Arlington is headquarters to many departments and agencies of the federal government, including the Department of Defense and is the location of many national memorials and museums.

Duties

Provide expert technical and airfield operations functional support to Army National Guard State, Installation, and Airfield Managers at ARNG Airfields and Heliports nation-wide. Exercise staff oversight and synchronization on airfield and other related administrative matters. Collaborate and coordinate functional responsibilities with State Army Aviation Officers, Installation Commanders, and other command officials as required. Serve as a senior advisor to the Chief, Aviation and Safety Division regarding airfield operations mission support requirements.
