You will serve as a ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT (OA) in the Center for Naval Aviation Technical Training Detachment of CNATT DET LAKEHURST.
Duties
You will perform student management functions and administrative duties supporting the detachment and leadership’s mission training requirements.
You will maintain files (e.g., entering, retrieving, reviewing, updating data), ensuring accuracy and propriety of data.
You will use automated systems to assist management officials with personnel actions.
You will answer administrative related questions to assist staff.
Requirements

Qualifications
I have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-04) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector: 1) Utilizing automated systems to enter, maintain or retrieve data and to compile reports and produce charts); 2) Composing correspondence while checking proper format and grammar and; 3) Receiving calls, greeting visitors, and responding to requests for information.
Typing Requirement: Must be able to type at least 40 words per minute. Your response to the typing skill question on the occupational questionnaire will be used in your qualification determination.

Education
In lieu of general experience, the following education may be substituted to meet the minimum qualifications requirement:
Have successfully completed four years of education above high school level
OR
Have a combination of experience and education as described above that equates to one year of experience.
