Duties
You will manage and oversee financial and contract execution of funding as required to meet assigned platform goals for safety, cost, and readiness.
You will complete assigned duties in a timely and effective manner.
You will lead, manage, and direct work of a group of multi-disciplined.
You will deliver new and modified systems, evaluate system, sub-system and LRU implementation, sparing and long term support structures to minimize MMHs and NMC hours while maximizing system readiness.
You will develop, tailor and implement sustainment.
You will be well versed in the 12 logistics elements with experience in the integration and management of propulsion and/or power systems and processes.
Requirements

- This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Examples of specialized experience: 1) Developing and implementing product support and maintenance concept/requirements for assigned system to achieve program goals and objectives with minimum life cycle cost. 2) Developing and reviewing program technical documentation and provide input and direction on logistics/maintenance issues and requirements. 3) Applying logistics principles and practices to ensure the total integration of product support elements to meet program requirements. 4) Developing and implementing maintenance capability establishment as required to support maintenance concepts/requirements to achieve program goals and objectives within budget and life cycle cost.
