Duties

Analyzes the monthly and yearly results of accounting transactions upon the financial posture of a small to medium installation MWR and Lodging funds. Apply accounting concepts when rendering financial guidance to managers and division chiefs. Responsible for development and formulation of the annual operating budget to include the five- year plan and narrative. Evaluates financial statements and prepares recurring financial reports for presentation to the fund manager and the installation commander. Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Qualifications: Experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties described above using the theories, principles, practices, and techniques of generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), and experience in internal review or auditing field is required as a minimum. Documented experience must have been equivalent in complexity and difficulty to the next lower grade/level. Highly Preferred: Have at least 1 year of experience working with NAF, APF or DoD financials? Do you possess a bachelor's degree with a major in a business discipline (i.e., accounting, financial management)?
