You will serve as a MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR in the Southwest Region Fleet Transportation Division of MARINE CORPS BASE CAMP PENDLETON.

Duties

You will determine goals, develop plans and schedule work assignments. You will review and analyze production, cost and personnel utilization records. You will establish maintenance schedules for equipment, set labor standard and repair operating instructions and work schedules. You will develop quality and quantity standards, spot check work operations, and review completed work and inspection reports. You will supervise subordinate employees, assign work, spot check work, develop appraisals, and develop training needs.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: managing, planning, coordinating, and directing the activities of the maintenance sections involving direct support maintenance operations to include maintenance, service and repair of large quantities of commercial wheeled and tracked vehicles equipment related to commodity groups of automotive, constructions, general support equipment, welding, recovery vehicles and part issues. Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree

or

3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree

or

LL.M., if related
