The primary purpose of this position is to analyze, develop, evaluate or promote improvements in the policies, plans, methods, procedures, systems or techniques of the supply system and to ensure senior level management is provided with current data to make essential management decisions regarding the logistics processes, procedures, and related support systems.

Duties

Equipment Accountability Element (EAE) or (LGRMCE), serves as the base equipment review and authorization activity and manages all base level equipment items within the LRS APO's purview, except for vehicles. EAE is responsible for updating base level data in the applicable APSR. Provide materiel management support and guidance to APOs, Responsible Officers, and Responsible Persons in the control and accountability equipment assets within the AF equipment system. Coordinate and direct deployment and redeployment of Class VII assets between APOs and Responsible Officers/Persons. Manage equipment Equipment Accountability Element.

Qualifications

Experience requirements are described in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions, https://www.opm.gov/policy-data-oversight/classification-qualifications/general-schedule-qualification-standards/#url=2000-ndx. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Applicants must have at least 1 year (52 weeks) of specialized experience at the next lower broadband NH-01, equivalent to the next lower grade GS-04 or equivalent in other pay systems. Specialized experience is experience in???? the policies, plans, methods, procedures, systems or techniques of the supply system . NOTE: Due to the use of 120-day rosters, this period of experience may be completed within 120 days of the closing date of this announcement. OR Education: Master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position. OR COMBINATION OF EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs): Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas: Knowledge of a wide range of well-established and commonly applied supply principles, concepts, and methodologies in one or more of the technical supply specializations or of supply program operations. Knowledge of operations and/or procedures to provide services and resolve issues and problems of a procedural nature in supply operations, planning, or program management. Knowledge of established supply systems to weigh the impact of such variables as cost, existing policies and procedures, data processing requirements, and other issues that influence the course of action taken. Knowledge to analyze information; trace sequences of transactions to resolve questions; prepare entries for supply record systems; provide supply information, reports, and services; and recommend actions to eliminate problems. Ability to communicate both orally and in writing without significant speech impediment and experience in preparation of slides, graphs, and/or other briefing materials. PART-TIME OR UNPAID EXPERIENCE: Credit will be given for appropriate unpaid and or part-time work. You must clearly identify the duties and responsibilities in each position held and the total number of hours per week. VOLUNTEER WORK EXPERIENCE: Refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service Programs (i.e., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student and social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge and skills that can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
