You will serve as a FLEET READINESS CENTER MID-ATLANTIC AIRCRAFT DEPARTMENT in the OCEANA QUALITY BRANCH of FRC SE DET MIDLANT OCEANA.
Duties
You will interpret technical material to ensure conformance.
You will differentiate the nature of defects.
You will administer the Production Certification Program.
You will generate quality investigation reports.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing some or all of the following duties: 1) Reading and comprehending structural drawings and schematics for complex aircraft structures and systems; 2) Preparing documentation to ensure shop compliance in the rework of aircraft, engines, and components and ground support equipment; 3) Establishing and maintaining effective lines of communication both orally and in writing to all personnel within and external to the organization; 4) Conducting surveillance of NAMP programs to ensure all quality requirements are being met; and 5) Assuring that all required maintenance, repairs and inspections are completed in accordance with established criteria.

Education
Successful completion of a master's or equivalent graduate degree
OR
Successful completion of two full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a master's degree
OR
Possession of an LL.B. or J.D. that is related to this position being filled.
