These temporary positions are located in the Architect of the Capitol, Office of the Chief Engineer, Construction Division, Construction Branch. Candidates must have journey level experience in commercial or industrial projects involving carpentry and wood crafting skills. Journey Level experience must be clearly shown in the applicant's Work History.  

Duties

These temporary positions are established for the completion of an assigned project(s) requiring journey level commercial or industrial carpentry and wood crafting skills to install, reverse or replace metal doors, install metal framing, drywall, etc.

Requirements

  • You must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • You must be able to pass a drug test.
  • Your resume and question responses must demonstrate job-related elements.

Qualifications

You must meet all eligibility and qualification requirements by the closing date of the job announcement.You must meet the following SCREEN-OUT required for this position:-- Ability to perform the work of a Wood Crafter without more than normal supervision.
