About the Position: This position is located with the Directorate of Public Works - Business Operations/Integration Division on Fort Campbell, KY. Fort Campbell lies on the Kentucky/Tennessee border between Hopkinsville, KY & Clarksville, TN about 45 miles NW of Nashville.
Duties
Serve as the Chief of the Business Management Office and advisor to the Chief of the Business Operations Integration Division.
Provide full range of real property and facilities maintenance, energy conservation, and related engineering services for the garrison.
Maintain close and continuous contacts with subordinate supervisors, Division Chiefs and other garrison organizations to exchange information.
Ensure review of operations and requirements with the objective of introducing and achieving operational and mission improvements, and operational economy.
Plans and directs subordinate operations.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Position requires incumbent to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
- This position is considered mission essential and may be required to report to work under all circumstances, even when the Government is declared closed.
- This position is supervisory as defined by the Office of Personnel Management's (OPM) General Schedule Supervisory Guide (GSSG). A one year probation may be required unless previously completed.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level in the Federal service which includes: 1) Providing program and budget analysis support; 2) Managing the performance of financial management functions in support of the organization; AND 3) Evaluating the fiscal performance standards for an organization. This experience is equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-12).

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-12).
