You will serve as a Program Analyst in the Command Training Branch (SPB011), Executive Department (SPB01), of the Strategic Weapons Facility, Pacific (SWFPAC) in Bangor, Washington.

Duties

You will prepare equipment and motor vehicle operator license documentation, including actual license, as well as sign and issue licenses in the absence of the Command Licensing Program Manager. You will track and monitor operators’ proficiencies, license expiration dates, medical physicals, and associated training. You will gather data of a technical and historical nature t be used for workforce development reports. You will screen individuals seeking employment development advise and provide assistance regarding courses available to meet employee needs. You will participate in the planning, creation, and distribution of training survey needs, analysis, consolidation, and evaluation of departmental training budgets. You will identify and recommend cost effective and time efficient ways to procure and schedule training and required facilities.

Requirements

  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Assisting in the management of administration of qualification certification or licensing programs to ensure proper certification to fulfill mission requirements. Education

In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:

Successful completion of Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree (Such education must demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work.)

3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree (Such education must demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work.)
~OR~
LL.M., if related (Such education must demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work.)
~OR~
A combination of experience and graduate education as described above that equates to one year of experience
