You will serve as a ADMINISTRATIVE SPECIALIST in the INFORMATION OPERATIONS DIVISION of NAVWARSYSCEN PACIFIC SAN DIEGO CA.
Duties
You will serves as a Management Analyst responsible for manpower planning, programming, allocation, and utilization for functions pertaining to the Information Operations Division.
You will initiate, coordinate, and/or review personnel actions implemented through an automated system.
You will Review documentation prepared for personnel actions requested by supervisors and assures completeness and adequacy of information.
You will work with leadership and stakeholders assisting in the interview process, conduct reference checks, and recommend applicants for vacant positions per leadership's direction.
You will oversee a variety of general administrative duties involving office automation support, correspondence, time and attendance, and ordering of office supplies.
You will assist in providing support that involves the planning, development, and execution of administrative tasks essential to the division.
You will assist with conducting extensive research and analysis on administrative projects to gather and analyze relevant data, develop options, make recommendations, and provide comprehensive reports.
You will read and interpret administrative regulations, directives, circulars, messages, etc.
You will coordinate the assessment of training needs and the submission of training requests.
Requirements

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
Qualifications
NO-04:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NO-03/ GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Assists in the interview process, conducts reference checks, and selects applicants for vacant positions per management's direction; and oversee a variety of general administrative duties involving office automation support, correspondence, time and attendance, and ordering of office supplies.
NO-03:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NO-02/ GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Initiate, coordinate, and/or review personnel actions implemented through an automated system; and Monitor administrative activities and prepares a variety of reports utilizing various automated systems.

Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree

3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree

NO-03:
master's or equivalent graduate degree
or
2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree
or
LL.B. or J.D., if related
