As a supervisor/manager, the selectee for this position will be eligible to receive a Manager Performance Incentive (MPI) provided eligibility requirements noted in agency policy are met. The MPI is an annual lump-sum incentive payment that considers agency performance, the manager's individual performance, and available funding.This position serves as the Program Manager for the Policy & Procedures Team (AJR-X300) within the Operational Readiness Directorate of System Operations Services.
Duties
Program Manager uses experience with contingency planning and the necessary elements that support it to serve as the Operational Readiness, Policy and Procedures Group Manager. Directs a staff consisting of technical experts and specialists responsible for developing and managing updates to FAA JO 1900.47, operational readiness training, policy, and international agreements to ensure operational contingency plans developed at all Air Traffic Control facilities in the NAS contain effective operational procedures to ensure continuity of NAS operations in the event of change in operational status. This work is critical to maintaining the safety of the NAS as it contributes toward the overarching vision of AJR-X to enable a NAS that is operationally and technologically prepared with contingencies in place for possible facility level or NAS wide outages and catastrophic failures.

Qualifications
To qualify for this position, you must demonstrate in your application that you possess at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the FV-J, FG/GS-14 level. This experience is typically related to the line of work of the position to be filled and which has equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been at least equivalent to the next lower level in the normal line of progression for the occupation in the organization.SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE is defined as: -Experience implementing and managing changes and interventions to ensure project goals are achieved.
