This position is located in Pacific West Region at Sequoia and King Canyon Parks, in the Facilities Management Division.

Duties
Performs supervisory duties to include, completing work schedules, approving leave, handling employee relations issues, evaluating, training and coaching subordinates and filling vacant positions
Performs work in short and long range daily planning, oversight and approval of purchasing, training and travel for work unit, coordinating work with other departments and contractors.
Performs carpentry, plumbing, electrical and painting work as necessary.
Performs maintenance, repairs and custodial operations in public use buildings, housing and campgrounds.
Operates light trucks for hauling supplies, removing debris, etc

ABILITY TO LEAD or SUPERVISE
Knowledge of equipment assembly, installation, repair, etc.
Use of Measuring Instruments.
Knowledge of materials
Ability to interpret instructions and specifications, etc. (includes blueprint reading)
