Duties
Serves as the senior technical expert/lead specialist responsible for integrating the planning of current and long-range Stock Positioning objectives for hydrazine fuels, propellant oxidizers, and other space launch related products and services.
Serves as the senior technical expert/lead specialist responsible for planning and integrating current and long-range business rules, polices, and procedures for hydrazine fuels, propellant oxidizers, and space launch related products and services.
Manages the DLA Master Stock Positioning Program and Storage Plan for propellant product and services and serves as the primary contact for all related EBS issues.
Makes recommendations for improvement of mission operations and changes to DLA Energy procedures and the development of new programs in stock positioning of space launch related products and services.
Evaluates and approves system application logic and reviews technical guidance provided to the Supply Planner in support of and optimized network.
Manages the stock keeping unit (SKU) structure and serves as the primary contact for the enterprise on any major issue/result/policy that may cause a change to the SKU structure.

Qualifications
To qualify for a Supply Systems Analyst, your resume and supporting documentation must support:
Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience that equipped you with the particular competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position and is directly in or related to this position. To qualify at the GS-13 level, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military, or private sector. Applicants must meet eligibility requirements including time-in-grade (General Schedule (GS) positions only), time-after-competitive appointment, minimum qualifications, and any other regulatory requirements by the cut-off/closing date of the announcement. Creditable specialized experience includes:
Overseeing the management of the organization's planning and inventory distribution network to ensure the most efficient and optimized operations.
Utilizing qualitative and quantitative analysis from a variety of Enterprise Business Systems (EBS) sources to drive Enterprise level decisions and policies related to world-wide materiel positioning and planning.
Maintaining network parameters and system configurations in EBS to implement policies/procedures, ensure network optimization, and resolve contingencies.

Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. Education
Substitution of education may not be used in lieu of specialized experience for this grade level.
