The primary purpose of this position is to serve as the Installation Deployment Officer (IDO) of the Plans and Integration Section; provides planning, direction, organizing and exercise control over nonsupervisory employees assigned to the section. Provides wing-level Deployment Reception Control Center command and control during contingency operations.
Duties
Acts as the primary Installation Deployment Officer (IDO). Plans and directs all contingency, emergency, and/or expeditionary deployments and receptions for the installation.
Plans, organizes, and oversees the activities of the Plans and Integration Section /Installation Deployment Readiness Cell, ensuring compliance with the legal and regulatory requirements to meet customer needs.
Exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilities. Directs, coordinates, and oversees work through subordinate supervisors, military and civilian personnel.
Represents the 910th LRS in various installation and functional areas.
Plans, organizes, and oversees the activities of the Installation Support Agreement (SA) and War Reserve Materiel (WRM) program to meet peacetime and wartime operations.

- IAW DoDI 3020-42 this position has been locally or command designated as Mission Essential (ME); needed to ensure the continued operation of mission essential functions of the activity. Mission Essential personnel may be (cond't)

- This is a Centrally Managed Position in the Logistics Management Series Career Field. PCS will be paid in accordance with JTR Vol. 2 and applicable Air Force Regulations.
Qualifications
In order to qualify, you must meet the specialized experience requirements described in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions, Administrative and Management Positions, Logistics Management Series 0346.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Applicants must have at least one (1) year of specialized experience at the next lower grade GS-11, or equivalent in other pay systems. Examples of specialized experience includes specialized, comprehensive, detailed and extensive knowledge required to manage wing level management of AEF, unit type codes, base support plans, Installation Deployment Plans, deployment training, deployment/reception planning and management to include core elements of the Installation Deployment Readiness Cell. Comprehensive knowledge of international, interservice and intra service support agreements is required to oversee the installation Support Agreement Management program. Comprehensive knowledge of War Reserve Materiel (WRM) policy, source documents e.g. Wartime Aircraft Activity Reports (WAAR), WCDO, United States Air Force (USAF) and Major Command (MAJCOM) methodology is required to effectively oversee the WRM program. Comprehensive knowledge of logistics automated information systems to execute duties, e.g. Logistics Module (LOGMOD), Deliberate Crisis Action Planning and Execution System (DCAPES), Joint Operations Planning and Execution System (JOPES), Logistics Feasibility Assessment Capability (LOGFAC).
FEDERAL TIME-IN-GRADE (TIG) REQUIREMENT FOR GENERAL SCHEDULE (GS) POSITIONS: Merit promotion applicants must meet applicable time-in-grade requirements to be considered eligible. One year at the GS-11 level is required to meet the time-in-grade requirements for the GS-12 level. TIG applies if you are in a current GS position or held a GS position within the previous 52 weeks. NOTE: Applicants applying as VEOA candidates who are current GS civil service employees or are prior GS civil service employees within the past 52 weeks must also meet time-in-grade requirements.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs): Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas:
Knowledge of federal and agency logistics plans principles, theories and practices.
Skills in interpreting Wartime Aircraft Activity Reports (WAAR), Wartime Consumables Distribution Objectives (WCDO), Time Phased Force Deployment Data (TPFDD) and applying DoD and agency policies and directives.
Knowledge of regulatory policy governing agreements to originate, manage, negotiate, consummate, coordinate and advise on intra service, interservice, international and SOFA requests.
Knowledge of WRM program responsibilities.
Ability to train functional organization monitors in the preparation of support agreements, including determining manpower requirements and cost estimates.
Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse group of individuals, both orally and in writing.
PART-TIME OR UNPAID EXPERIENCE: Credit will be given for appropriate unpaid and or part-time work. You must clearly identify the duties and responsibilities in each position held and the total number of hours per week.
