About the Position: This position is for Director of Dental located at Evans Army Community Hospital at Fort Carson, CO.

Duties

Review status of supply actions, changes in requirements and reconciliations. Coordinate the issuance and turn-in of hand receipts and non-had receipt equipment. Use automated computer supply system software to perform daily supply duties in accordance with prescribed procedures. Use basic supply functions to receive, handle, store, issues, control, and maintain supply items and equipment utilized by org. Coordinate, institute, perform department inventory procedures, conducts investigations, research and determine causes of inventory discrepancies.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • This position has a mandatory seasonal influenza vaccination requirement and is therefore subject to annual seasonal influenza vaccinations.
  • Required to be screened for and obtain necessary immunizations/vaccinations (hepatitis, influenza,etc.), unless exempted by a licensed physician.
  • Must possess and maintain a valid US State issued driver’s license to carry out position related duties.

OR Education: Four years of education above the high school level obtained in an accredited business, secretarial or technical school, junior college, college or university. OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide your semester hours of education beyond two years (total semester hours minus 60) by 60. Add the two percentages. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Manages and Organizes InformationTechnical CompetenceTechnology ApplicationWriting Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-04).
