Duties
You will assist in providing business and financial management support, program evaluation and management expertise to the Program Office and PEO.
You will support the preparation of business portions of program acquisition documentation and demonstrates knowledge of various standard program analysis processes.
You will assist in the implementation of internal reviews in order to provide management with a current and comprehensive evaluation of the financial execution performance of programs against approved plans, objectives, etc.
You will support the Program Office regarding all Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPB/E) activities.
You will assist in formulating budgets supportive of and consistent with program planning submissions. Present and defend components budget to higher authorities. Prepare, justify, and defend impact statements and reclamas.
Requirements

- You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or DP-02 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Assisting in formulating budgets consistent with program planning submissions; knowledge of financial best practices to include financial analysis, budget preparation and execution, and financial reconciliation, and contract management; knowledge of DOD appropriations, e.g. Other Procurement Navy (OPN), Operations and Maintenance, Navy (O&M, N), Research, Development, Test and Evaluation, Navy (RDTE, N), and Shipbuilding and Conversion, Navy (SCN); ability to analyze financial data, identify potential solutions, and implement plans of action to solve identified problems.
