About the Position: As Administrative Services Manager, serves as principal advisor to the MOTSU Commander on the management of MOTSU Installation and Operations, civilian and military personnel, administrative services, and manpower management.
Duties
Serve as the principal advisor to leadership concerning civilian personnel matters.
Review and interpret various regulations and directives pertaining to administration and management of the organization.
Coordinate with higher headquarters personnel to resolve procedural problems and policy changes.
Review and monitor table of distribution and allowances.
Identify training requirements of section employees and ensures appropriate training is accomplished within allocation, priorities, and monetary limitations.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
- This position travel requirement is 25%.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: 1) managing manpower requirements; 2) providing guidance related to personnel programs; 3) maintaining and updating table of distribution and allowances; and 4) coordinating an administrative program. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).
