You will serve as a LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in the UNDERSEA WARFARE SYSTEMS ENGINEERING DIVISION within the FLEET READINESS DEPT of NAVUNSEAWARCENDIV KEYPORT WA.

Duties

You will serve as the Submarine Hull Sensor Logistics Manager for NAVSEA PMS401. You will manage product support programs for the acquisition and/or Life Cycle Sustainment Management of Integrated product support functions as the senior logistic authority, Fleet consultant and a product support subject matter expert. You will serve as a product support subject matter expert in the operation, maintenance, and product support of a wide variety of complex equipment, systems and platforms. You will assist in the formulation and execution of goals, plans, and budgets for the organization. You will conduct final reviews of all completed work to ensure valid technical concepts and methods have been applied.

  • This is a bargaining unit position.
  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
  • This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-11) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector analyzing integrated logistics management for the acquisition of equipment, material, products, goods or services in support of an undersea system or program.
