This position is located in Lake Mead National Recreation Area, in the Facilities Management Division.

Duties
Provide technical support for all activities involved in asset management work associated with automated facility management, facility condition assessment, and cost estimating software and participate in the formulation and execution of long-range strategies for facility management.
Use standardized guidelines to determine the condition of all assets, including annual and comprehensive assessments, life-cycles assessments, and daily work findings; and facilitates the development of Asset Priority Index (API) ratings for all assets, calculates and/or updates asset Current Replacement Value (CRV) using standardized methodology.
Completes the annual review, closeout and setup of numerous complex maintenance work orders; evaluates planned and actual cost of all work orders and updates; reviews reports, analyzes and prioritizes asset needs, and provides project recommendations.
Prepares, analyzes and present reports generated from facility management software systems databases for operational, fiscal, and planning purposes; retrieve, compile, and manipulate database information to complete a variety of reports.
Provide support and guidance for all practical and technical aspects of facility management database information and reviews.
Qualifications

Credit will be given for all appropriate qualifying experience. To qualify for this position at the GS-11 grade level, you must possess at least one or all of the following minimum qualifications by close of the announcement:
EXPERIENCE: At least one full year of specialized experience comparable in scope and responsibility to the GS-09 grade level in the Federal service (obtained in either the public or private sectors). This experience includes activities such as: Participating in determining the condition of park assets, including annual/comprehensive/parametric assessments, lifecycle assessments, and daily work finding using established guidelines; preparing statements of work for park projects; using database management programs in order maintain data and synthesize information into graphic and other report formats; preparing and presenting reports to management from software programs for park operational, fiscal, and planning purposes; and working with park staff in developing park facility projects. You must include hours per week worked.

EDUCATION: Successful completion of at least three years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to a PhD or equivalent doctoral degree in an accredited educational institution or LL.M., with a major study in a closely related field. You must include transcripts.
