The DCSA Security Academy ensures the mission readiness of America's Gatekeepers by providing comprehensive training programs to support national security. This position supports the interdisciplinary security branch within the DCSA Security Academy providing tailored training programs to support mission readiness and mission integration across the DCSA.

As a TRAINING SPECIALIST you will be responsible for the following duties:

Specialized experience for this position includes: - Reviewing, updating instructional materials, analyzing change recommendations, and conducting curricula support. - Conducing classroom and virtual course instruction, facilitating discussions and answering student questions. - Developing and implementing instructional materials curricula with a security area of focus, to participate in curriculum reviews and evaluations adapting curricula to established technology-based platforms, methods and techniques. - Understanding, disseminating and translating difficult, complex, and/or ambiguous regulations, procedures, and policy into learning objectives and easily understood concepts for incorporation into curricula and advising students and stakeholders. - Utilizing National level security policies to evaluate, develop, implement and maintain Security curricula. Specifically you will be evaluated on the following competencies: Education / Training Program Administration: Technical- Subject Matter Expert: Organize, plan, and coordinate the functions, provisions, schedules, and administrative activities, which are required to conduct education and training programs. Manage the organization, operation, and resources to facilitate instruction and future planning. Instructional Delivery and Learner Development- General Job Analysis: Deliver, provide, and monitor training and education for individuals and groups within learning environments. Tailor and adapt instruction to ensure learners' needs are met and learning outcomes are achieved. 5697 Instructional Design Technical- Subject Matter Expert(s) Design and select training and educational methods and strategies for targeted competencies. Sequence instructional components for application in new or existing learning programs to satisfy programmatic requirements.
