Duties
You will conduct comprehensive review and analysis of installation physical security plans, inspection and survey reports.
You will contribute to the development and evaluation of current and proposed security protection systems to ensure that information, equipment, facilities, and personnel are protected against possible compromise, sabotage, theft, or terrorism
You will manage the electronic background investigation program using extensive knowledge of administrative security requirements.
You will review and evaluate the security impact of system changes, including interfaces with other information systems.
You will coordinate the development and release of public information such as press releases, fact sheets, newsletters, or other briefing materials.
Requirements

- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

- Must possess a TOP SECRET/SCI security clearance and must obtain and maintain NSA badging for NIPR/SIPR/NSANet accounts.A Counterintelligence Polygraph is required and a nondisclosure agreement must be signed.
- Failure to retain this level of security clearance and access will be grounds for reassignment, demotion, or removal from the Federal Service.
- Testing Designated Position (TDP). Employee must successfully pass a urinalysis screening for illegal drug use prior to appointment and subsequent periodic drug screening thereafter.
- This position is not telework eligible.
- Required overnight travel may be as high as 20% of the time.
- You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
- This is a Cyberspace Workforce position, work role code (722), proficiency level (ADVANCED) the incumbent is required to obtain and maintain qualifications in DoDM 8140.03 Cyber Workforce Qualification and Department of Navy policies.
- Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.101.
Qualifications
Applicants must have directly applicable experience that demonstrates the possession of knowledge, skills, abilities, and competencies necessary for immediate success in the position. Qualifying experience may have been acquired in any public or private sector job, but will clearly demonstrate past experience in the application of the particular competencies or knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to successfully perform the duties of the position. Such experience is typically in or directly relates to the work of the position to be filled. Qualifying experience would be demonstrated by Reviewing, evaluating, and adjudicating reports of investigations, personnel files, and other records to determine whether to grant, deny, revoke, suspend, or restrict security clearances consistent with national security and/or suitability issues.
