This position is located in Gateway National Recreation Area, in the Facilities and Management Division. Travel, transportation, and relocation expenses will not be paid. All travel, transportation, and relocation expenses associated with reporting for duty in this position will be the sole responsibility of the selected employee.

Duties

MAJOR DUTIES: Plans, assigns, and directs the work of all subordinates and assures quality of work. Performs mixed duties of a general nature necessary for the proper operation, maintenance, and repair of cultural landscapes, roads, beaches, trails, grounds, and facility maintenance. Supports roads and grounds operations as required including snow removal, park events, and or emergencies. May be required to do simple laboring tasks as an incidental part of his or her general duties including building maintenance, repair, and custodial work. Required to have and use a government issued charge card, with purchase and travel lines of business, in accordance with agency micro-purchase and travel regulations.
