About the Position: The position is located at the US Army Installation Management Command (USAG), Directorate of Plans, Training, Mobility and Security, Ft. Moore GA. The "Maneuver Center of Excellence" is located 100 miles south of Atlanta and is adjacent to Columbus, Georgia and Phenix City, Alabama.
Duties
Administer Fort Moore contingency plans and program for the installation.
Serve as a special project officer for a myriad of actions having Directorate of Plans, TRNG, MOB, and Security (DPTMS), Garrison Command, and higher headquarters emphasis.
Function as the principal action officer for existing plans, tertiary planning, and ongoing related suspense actions.
Participate in formal planning sessions at the Numbered Armies in the Continental United States (CONUSA) and major commands (MACOM) level and negotiates and influences outcome in the interest of the commander.
Requirements
- This is an obligated position.
- This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment. A background investigation and credit check are required.
- This position has been designated as a Key position. This position cannot be vacated during a national emergency or mobilization without seriously impairing the capability of the agency to function effectively.
- This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 10% of the time.

One year of specialized experience which includes developing, reviewing and implementing contingency, emergency, and preparedness plans for reacting to national wartime, peacetime emergencies and local crises. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).
