The mission of the National Counterintelligence & Security Center is to lead and support the U.S. Government's counterintelligence (CI) and security activities critical to protecting our nation; provide CI outreach to U.S. private sector entities at risk of foreign intelligence penetration; and issue public warnings regarding intelligence threats to the U.S.

Duties

The NCSC Strategic Assessments Group (SAG) oversees and coordinates equity reviews and formal damage assessments within the IC in accordance with Intelligence Community Directive 732. The group also manages a Center-wide production process that helps NCSC meet its legal, policy, and other tasking requirements. The SAG Integration Officer serves on a multidisciplinary team and principally supports ICD 732-associated SAG activities related to Community equity review and damage assessments. As such, the officer engages in Community outreach, coordination, briefings, and written products. As such, the officer will: Plan, research, develop, and communicate in-depth analyses of complex and significant national CI issues for senior policymakers and key components in the Intelligence Community (IC), law enforcement, and the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI) as they relate to CI community lessons learned. Plan, promote, and lead the production of finished intelligence products as necessary related to the aforementioned topics. Provide leadership and expert guidance to the planning, analysis, and application of a full-range of methodological tools and approaches to gain a comprehensive understanding of complex analytical issues and incorporate insights and findings into well-crafted, in-depth CI-related Community topics. Plan, prepare, and present written and oral briefings to senior internal and external customers on significant counterintelligence issues; explain complex concepts to non-expert customers and tailor the product to correspond to customer needs, as necessary. Cultivate, and maintain productive working relationships with colleagues, experts, IC members, policy committees, and law enforcement agencies as appropriate and use these relationships to share information of interest; attend internal and external training, seminars, or conferences on broad or more strategic subject areas. Build and leverage diverse collaborative networks within the ODNI and across the IC. Develop and continually expand personal knowledge CI. Research collaboration tools and policies for successful collaboration effort.

Requirements

Qualifications

Thorough knowledge of IC organizations; IC mission posture, structures, capabilities, processes, and policy development. Ability to anticipate issues relevant to the IC and United States Government and recommend/implement needed actions. Skills and ability to collaborate with interagency working groups, maintain coalitions with IC elements to achieve common goals. Ability to implement integration strategies for IC initiatives and programs, including the ability to manage human, financial, and information resources. Analytical and critical thinking skills, including the ability to think strategically, identify needs and requirements, develop recommendations, and evaluate outcomes against goals and objectives. Ability to implement strategic and tactical level topics and implement recommendations and solutions for improvement. Interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in both independent and in a team or collaborative environment. Oral and written communication skills, including ability to draft and edit written reports of varying length and complexity, and to communicate effectively with audiences of varying seniority and expertise
