You will serve as an IT SPECIALIST (ENTARCH) of NAVAL SYSTEMS MANAGEMENT ACTIVITY.

Duties

You will provide expertise in enterprise architecture to support the development and implementation of IT strategies and solutions in alignment with organizational goals and objectives. You will develop and maintain enterprise architecture artifacts, including models, frameworks, and standards, to support the organization's IT strategy and roadmap. You will collaborate with stakeholders to define and document business requirements and translate them into actionable enterprise architecture solutions. You will serve as a subject matter expert on enterprise architecture principles, methodologies, and tools, providing training and support to staff as needed.

  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
  • This is a Cyberspace Workforce position, work role code Enterprise Architect, proficiency level II the incumbent is required to obtain and maintain qualifications in DoDM 8140.03 Cyber Workforce Qualification and Department of Navy policies.
  • PPP applicants must currently hold the required security clearance.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience performing work equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-12) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate performing duties such as the following: 1.) Applying experience with the Department of Defense Architecture Framework (DoDAF) version 2 and its application within the military context sufficient to be familiar with IT governance frameworks, such as COBIT or ITIL, and their relevance to enterprise architecture; 2) Applying enterprise architecture concepts, principles, frameworks, and methods sufficient to use enterprise architecture tools and software for modeling and analysis; 3) Analyzing complex technical problems and developing innovative solutions using enterprise architecture concepts to exercise IT project management processes and practices and possess knowledge of emerging technologies and trends in enterprise architecture and their potential impact on organizational IT strategies. Your experience must reflect skill in the following areas: attention to detail, customer service, oral communication, and problem solving.
