You will serve as a PROGRAM MANAGER in the Transformation Office (Code 100TO) of PEARL HARBOR NSY AND IMF.
Duties
You will collaborate with process partners to operationalize and enable execution of improvement strategies leveraging systems analysis and process improvement methodologies to produce, measure, and sustain results aligned to Command metrics.
You will provide technical expertise to perform independent system studies and analysis to achieve goals in support of strategic targets.
You will coach and mentor other shipyard personnel on Lean methodologies, tools, assessments, and systems to affect sustainable improvement in overall command operations.
You will identify opportunities for optimizing workflows, management systems, and building quality into processes.
You will apply advance data mining and machine learning methods to solve problems to develop predictive models.
You will develop, execute, and evaluate complex pilot programs, simulations, and prototypes to assess potential effects on the system.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

- Work is performed in areas where potentially harmful physical and chemical agents are present (e.g. fumes, dust, heat, ionizing and non-ionizing radiation and chemicals). You will be required to participate in medical surveillance programs.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector managing labor and trade occupational constraints (manpower, equipment availability, funding, etc.) by applying pertinent principles, theories, concepts, and practices while utilizing process improvement concepts and techniques to ensure continued program support in a shipyard organization.
