About this Position: Serves as the Administrative Officer for the G-37 Training Directorate within the TRADOC DCS G-3/5/7, responsible for providing a variety of managerial, budgetary, operational and administrative services essential to the direction and efficient operation of the organization.

Duties

Coordinates directly with the TRADOC G-3/5/7 staff, TRADOC Staff, Division Chiefs, and TRADOC subordinate organizations to facilitate synchronization of the Directorate's initiatives, requirements and taskings as required. Centrally manages and controls the collection and reporting of missions and mission support projects, taskings, and staff actions for the Director. Provides administrative and technical guidance as well as policy/procedure interpretation on appropriate execution of taskings. Maintains awareness of new/revised policies, procedures, regulations, and directives, interprets them for the directorate and subordinate divisions, and develops policy, plans, and instructions for proper integration and implementation. Provides guidance, oversight, and/or administrative support regarding military and civilian personnel management for the Directorate.

Requirements

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a secret security clearance.
  • This position may require temporary duty (TDY) for business for up to 10% of the time.

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11).
